You might be thinking, 'oh my goodness, how can I possibly teach all that to my child and when will he/she be able to do all that?' It's totally understandable for you to ponder like this, but think about it; did you have to cram all that into your head one by one when you were younger? No. This is because children are capable of learning language relatively quickly. However, to do so, they must be exposed to language and be able to directly interact with people in that language.
As the time goes by, they will eventually have a purpose in using the language, especially to express their needs!
Please have in mind that children do not learn a language simply via imitation, they do so by interaction.
Also, they have the ability to understand far more language than they can actually use.
