What is similar?
Both children are adults have the capability to acquire a language. This is proven by the fact that everyone can fluently speak their native language. Adults have learnt it as a child, and children have as well and are also constantly building onto their knowledge. Hence, the similarity between learning a language as a young child and as an adult is that they are both, or just to be inclusive, ‘everyone’ has the potential to learn something new. Their age might be different and their maturity might also be different. However, they are going to be on the same page if they all have the same degree of interest and the same amount of desire to acquire a new language. The famous quote is an evidence: “Where there is a will, there is a way.”

Many people have been trying to find a distinctive contrast between learning as a child and as an adult. You may as well have heard that it is much easier for a child to learn language than an adult. This statement may be technically true, but it can just be misleading. Disregarding the fact of who is faster, such contrasts can be seen:
- The Environment
- The Comprehension
- The Purpose
